The Passing Scene

I am using Dragon speak to make this entry. It is an amazing technology. To be able to simply speak into my droid4 phone and have it transcribed. Using this technology I’ll be able to record my thoughts during the day. Simple and effective. Nothing more nothing less.

It is time to close down my day. This was a productive day. Any day with good production is always a good day.

I’ve been thinking lately about writing. Lots of topics of interest to me – science, philosophy, spirituality, plus many more. But, I haven’t found a real passion. I just enjoy learning. I know there are people who have a white-hot passion for some particular thing, but I’m not one of them. The urge to write (something) has been with me for years but I’ve never given time and energy to the task. What I’d like to know is “Why do I have this urge to write?” Perhaps, I should write about my urge to write. Well, that’s enough writing for now – I’m worn out.

I’ve found that very often the things that are good for me aren’t the things that are fun for me. The challenge: just do them — remember they’re good for you.
